Billboards have started popping up all over Metro Atlanta touting the University of Georgia…it’s all part of a new multi media campaign designed to show Bulldog pride and remind folks how sweet it is to be a part of the “Dawg Nation.” More than 40 billboards have been bought for the campaign….UGA Senior Associate Athletic Director Andy Platt says “We’re proud to be one of the most powerful brands in college athletics and want to effectively tell our story.” Schools like Clemson and Auburn have long been tapping the billboard market in the Atlanta area, hoping to lure the best and the brightest out of the Peach state. So some say it’s about time that UGA does the same to keep them here. The billboards can also be seen on Highway 316, a road well traveled by fans on game day.
