April 19, 2021 – McDonald’s launches steamy billboard campaign showcasing just how hot their freshly brewed coffee is. The fast-food giant out did itself again utilizing smoke machines to bring out a realistic look. The smoke machines act as the steam gently rising out into the air from the savory coffee. If this does not get you in the mood for nice cup of coffee on an early morning, then nothing will. The McCafé has really proven to us that they can compete with other coffee connoisseurs such as Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts with this spectacular billboard advertisement.

While other fast-food companies like KFC, Chick-Fil-A, and Popeyes are battling it out for best chicken, McDonalds struck a different market…coffee. According to an analysis done by NCA, coffee is consumed by 64% of American adults every day. That is a lot of people drinking coffee. So, to fill the need and provide a freshly brewed cup of coffee to their customers McDonald’s had to show them just how good it was by placing it on a huge billboard.

Billboards gave McDonalds the unique advantage to customize their art design to allow people to experience how delicious McCafé’s coffee is before they even get them in the door. This small act drove customers to the drive through.

Do not worry the police and fire department were notified of the smoking billboard. Safety precautions were met in the making of this billboard.
