February 16, 2021 – Major League Baseball season is right around the corner, and so this Black History Month we wanted to recognize the Major League Baseball Hall Of Famer Hank Aaron, a former member of the Atlanta Braves. His memory will forever linger in this American sport that has joined us together as we go to games cheering on our favorite teams and players, watching every homerun, and together as a community to rally behind this amazing sport. His mark on the game will never leave nor will we let it as we honor his memory.

To the man that has change the game forever in paving the way for equality on the field over the 23 years of his career, here are some of Hank Aaron’s career highlights to honor his memory.

  • A MB 25-time All Star
  • 3 time Golden Glove Winner
  • MVP
  • Finished his baseball career with
  • 755 homeruns, currently the 2nd highest ranking number of homeruns of any baseball player
  • On May 17th, 1970 he became the first Major League player in history to part of both the 3,000 Hits Club and the 500 Home Runs Club

These accomplishments show a fraction of the hard work and dedication Hank Arron put into playing baseball. His story gives us all hope that we can reach the top regardless of what people call us, or because of what we believe, or because of our race. We can make to the top because we choose to work hard to make it to the top. So, let his memory be an inspiration to us all.
