Let Billboards Be the Locations
Speaking to the hearts of your clientele can change their mind on whether they choose to purchase from your company or your competitors. The opportunity to change consumers minds more locations…out of home locations.
Every fast food restaurant has a billboard staked in front of their storefronts fighting for each driver’s attention. However, not every fast food restaurant’s location is in the same facility as the others. So how do you expand your company’s reach, while also avoiding the expense of another physical store? The answer is out of home locations…billboards.
Billboards can act as a location in any market to help give your company exposure. OOH Today writes in their article Burger King Ambushes Mickey D’s with Old, Easy OOH Fix “An OOH display can physically stand in place as a company store any where there is a billboard. It’s less expensive and hyper targets” (OOH Today, 2020).
Recently fast food chain Burger King demonstrated this in the city of Helsinki where it is mostly dominated by its rival McDonald’s. Burger King placed a billboard, a bus shelter board, in front McDonald’s locations to draw the attention of consumers headed that direction. The partnership with takeout app Wolt resulted in an exponential growth in sales.
Competing with rival brands in your industry should not be a challenge but an opportunity to speak to your consumers in a different way that reaches them best. So, take the upper hand and use billboards to change the minds of your customers.
