We have all been in the kitchen before throwing spices together and hoping for the best, but what if we blended two types of media together in hopes of finding that perfect combination that works. The digital world has become increasingly popular over the last decade with platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn are continuously magnifying each day.
Audiences can go to a company profile and should know exactly who your company is and what it does. But how do we get them there?
Mixing different types of marketing campaigns that all point towards the same message can increase the amount of traffic not only to your website but also through your doors. There are certain tips to keep in mind when following through with this method.
- Consistency:
Keeping up with social media is key to being in front of your audience on daily basis and keeping them interested in what your doing. Frequency is key to being remembered. If a person drives by your billboard 5-6 times a week, then proceeds to follow you on all available social media platforms they could potentially see your message 20 times a week.
2. Moderation:
Providing enough information but not too many different options at once. For example, if you have multiple deals you want to advertise do not use them all at once. The viewer can only digest a limited amount of information about your products and services.
3. Similarity:
Messaging should be the same across the board. A person should be able to look at every piece pf advertising you are doing and know that you are the same company. When your social media does not align with what your billboard said, it leaves the audience confused. This can lead to a loss of business.
Blending multiple types of advertising can be very beneficial to helping your audience know your brand and products and services. Define a message you want your target market to know and share that same idea, design, and organization across all your marketing campaigns for the best outcome.
