Before Irma, there was Harvey. After that massive hurricane wreaked its havoc on Texas, the out of home industry used its muscle to help.
Digital billboards throughout the Houston area displayed a message from the Federal Emergency Management Agency so victims could see the website and phone number to call to get assistance.
Throughout other parts of the U.S., including Times Square, digital billboards displayed messages from the Red Cross, urging people to donate to the victims.
Outdoor Association of America President and CEO, Nancy Fletcher says, “The industry’s willingness to help is matched by its speed of delivery.”
Other billboards throughout the country showed a message of solidarity, with slogans like “Texas Strong.”
