Sure, the company could have gone about illustrating this in some other way, but by turning the billboard on its side and “going tall,” with an avalanche of albums pouring into the little iPod pictured at the bottom of the billboard, the message comes through loud and clear.  We love this ad almost as much as the iPod itself.

Needless to say, the ad was a big hit that sparked a global conversation and made the brand even more recognizable.
