He’s only 8, but has big dreams of being famous, specifically in China. Rhode Island native Dorian Murray has a rare and untreatable form of pediatric cancer. But his dreams of being famous have gone viral globally thanks to a Facebook post by his dad. Clear Channel Outdoor has put his face and hashtag #DStrong on digital billboards all over eastern Massachusetts. People have shown their support by forming the hashtag message with their bodies on the beach and Dorian even got a visit from New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski. Rhode Island lawmakers also named January 20th “#DStrong Day.” You can read more on Dorian’s story on his Facebook page, Praying for Dorian.
